The project involved the construction of a 3200m2 Woolworths store with 12 tenancies, including a mall, and civil works to accommodate 189 parking spaces.

The project was awarded to Fairbrother through a design and construct tender process. The timeframes for this project were very tight and presented multiple challenges for the site team as the project was broken into four stages with separate handover dates.

The first stage was the handover of the Woolworths tenancy in June 2015 and this was completed on time and on budget. This stage was to be completed eight weeks before overall project completion.

The second stage was the handover of the tenancies including the mall six weeks prior to overall completion. Some fit-out of the tenancies was required with all utilities to be connected and operational.

The third stage was the completion of all civil works which included car parking, acoustic walls, retaining walls, line-marking and landscaping to all areas. This was to be completed four weeks prior to overall project completion.

The final stage was the complete handover of the project including all commissioning and defect rectification.
