Delivered on a relatively greenfield site, the project totalled approximately 300m² of internal floor area and 1,100m² of external works, providing a modern, functional clinic that has significantly improved the service capacity and flexibility of the organisation.

Fairbrother’s delivery was characterised by strong site management, proactive coordination with the architect and consultants, and a collaborative approach with the client. The project called for a high standard of finishes and drew upon intricate services and architectural coordination, with the strong collaboration between the Fairbrother delivery team, project consultants and the client, the project was delivered efficiently with minimal contract increases.

Importantly, Fairbrother’s disciplined delivery and site management helped the project achieve zero lost time injuries across approximately 4,300 labour hours. With relatively minor challenges through delivery, programme performance was addressed through early engagement with stakeholders and pragmatic programme management. Fairbrother mitigated impacts to the overall delivery by resequencing works where possible and maintaining open communication with the client and design team. The completed facility now provides substantially improved clinical spaces that support a wide range of health services,
delivering lasting benefits to the local community.
