Fairbrother led a successful and extensive value management phase to meet the client’s budget and ensure project delivery.

This project consisted of three separate buildings, a new civic building (Paranaple Centre), a food pavilion (Providore Place) and a multi-storey carpark, all located around a central outdoor public area named Market Square.

The Paranaple Centre is a four-level civic building housing Service Tasmania, LINC, Devonport City Council and a large function centre. As a state-of-the-art building, the services infrastructure was significant and required detailed coordination and an additional mezzanine level plant room.

The building finishes are highly detailed with timber and glass used throughout to create a modern and appealing building. The total floor plate of the building is approximately 7,400m2.

Providore Place is a 2,600m2 building housing seven separate food and drink tenancies with a large communal area for functions and markets.

The multi-storey carpark is a three-level concrete structure, clad in perforated aluminium with a total floor area of approximately 16,000m2.

This project required extensive coordination with stakeholders as the three buildings ran concurrently on a single site in a CBD location.
