Fairbrother was chosen to construct this project following the submission of a competitive tender. The University’s aim was to construct a focal point within its Launceston campus. The development consists of an Arts Building catering for social science and humanities and the Riawunna building catering for aboriginal studies and cultural services. It includes a 300-seat lecture theatre together with faculty, teaching and student zones.

The architecture of the building is very striking. Colours have been chosen to accentuate design and help to create a very impressive structure. External landscaping compliments the theme.

The complex design of this project presented our team with many interesting challenges. The end result is a fine example of our company’s expertise.
