| About |
Construction of a regional support facility for training and supporting health practitioners across all areas of the profession. |
The project consisted of construction of training areas, research areas, amenities, staff and student common facilities, reception area, storage areas and CEO office.
Curves were a predominant feature in the design of both the building itself and the joinery. The use of polished Tas Oak was a feature in a number of the curved benchtops. Painted benchtops and pre-finished boards were also used extensively. Other notable features include the Myrtle veneer joinery in the CEO’s office, and the inclusion of two Rock Maple veneer ceiling panels. The detailed staircase is also a special feature that required considerable time and effort to achieve the desired look and finish.
