About Construction over 2 stages of a 248-seat call centre including infrastructure for Launceston’s new technopark.

This project was initiated by the State Government for its client, Ansett Australia. Fairbrother was selected as the building contractor on the basis of ability to positively influence the building design, fast track the construction period, and deliver a high class building in accordance with the client’s brief.

The project was constructed in two stages. Stage one consisted of a 124-seat call centre with a project value of $3.68 million. Stage two added a further 124 seats at a cost of $2.42 million.

The construction period from design to occupation for Stage one was 20 weeks, and 21 weeks for Stage two.
