Fairbrother Pty Ltd was selected to negotiate the construction of a new music centre for Hutchins after successfully completing a previous project at the middle school.

To achieve the high-level of acoustic performance required, the music centre was constructed using concrete floor slabs, acoustic pre-cast panels and multi-layered plasterboard linings. The shapes and angles of the wall panels were further extenuated by vivid colour selections. An existing residential house was refurbished to the same acoustic criteria, producing a recording studio environment.
