| About |
A stateof-the-art facility designed to enhance student performances in dance and music. |
The Fahan School's Performing Arts Centre is a stateof-
the-art facility designed to enhance student
performances in dance and music. The 469m2
facility is partially recessed into a rock embankment
ensuring seamless integration with the landscape and
surrounding campus.
Incorporating seven practice rooms and a staff room
plus large performance space, amenities, a professional
grade mixing room and ample storage space, this
architecturally styled building provides students with a
purpose built performing arts complex.
Situated adjacent to the recently constructed
gymnasium and alongside a small creek, the facility
is accessed via a small bridge or from the recreational
space above. Bold colours and industrial textures have
been utilised throughout whilst the main performance
space retains a traditional look with highly polished,
sprung timber flooring and a full length wall mirror with
dance barre.
Constructed within a rigidly defined timeframe, this
project showcases Fairbrother's commitment to quality
and the project team's ability to work flexibly with the
principal consultants and client.
