Cancer council 'boss the boss' program

In April, Fairbrother's Southern division got behind the Cancer Council of Tasmania's “Boss the Boss”, a program intended to raise awareness and funds to support men with cancer.

The Cancer Council provided a number of excellent suggestions on how to “Boss the Boss”, including getting him to BBQ an Easter breakfast, take everyone to lunch, or caddy for a game of golf.  But we passed these up to send Southern "Boss" Peter Killick out to do a real day's work, getting Peter to man the tools at the Risdon Prison site for a day.  In return for Peter's hard work, employees generously donated money to the Cancer Council's awareness program, raising $543.

You can see from the photos, Peter was kept plenty busy.  No news yet on whether Peter's considering a full-time return to the tools.
