Fairbrother part of consortium to build $16m waterfront development in Burnie

A $16M apartment, restaurant and retail development has been unveiled for Burnie that includes 24 apartments valued from $410,000 to a tentative $800,000, and 12 retail tenancies.

The proposal has been put together by Fairbrother Chairman, Royce Fairbrother, Mr Barry of City and Rural First National, and Allan Johnson of Johnson Design Service.

A development application has been lodged with the Burnie Council, with the hope of having apartments and shop sites ready to be occupied in October 2006.
