Construction Victoria

Originally established in 1991 by founding partners Chris Morey and Terry Hurford, our Victorian construction division traded for many years as Morey & Hurford Pty Ltd, gaining a strong reputation in the local business community and across regional Victoria.  Now operating as a fully fledged division of Fairbrother Pty Ltd, Fairbrother Construction in Victoria services clients as far afield as Warrnambool, Geelong, Ballarat, Shepparton and Albury.

Our construction portfolio demonstrates two decades of experience in regional Victoria, encompassing large scale commercial construction works and numerous heritage restoration projects including many of Bendigo's most noteworthy and historic landmarks. As a division operated by people with strong local roots, we possess the skills, knowledge and heritage to sustain long term relationships with valued clients statewide.

Having started in 1991 with just 6 employees and an annual turnover of approximately $600,000, our division has grown steadily to a point where we now employ more than 50 people in office and site-based roles, achieving an annual turnover in excess of $34 million.

A multi-award winning business unit in our own right, the Bendigo team were the Master Builders Association of Victoria's 'Regional Commercial Builder of the Year' in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2009 and 2010. Our full list of awards can be found on the Fairbrother Awards page.
